45 nm Intel chips

According to the NY Times, Intel demoed the new 45 nm chips that are scheduled to be released by the end of the year. Apple is apparently involved in the testing on Mac OS X. The 45 nm chips will be a lot more powerful and run cooler compared to the existing 65 nm chips.
