According to the analyst group iSuppli, the components in the iPhone will totalize a cost of $230. This doesn't take into consideration the cost of manufacturing, research, development, adverstising, warranty, etc... It is still quite a good markup since the $500 price tag requires a two years contract. This leads to the possibility that there could be future price drop!
