AppleInsider just reported that the chip located in the Apple TV is a portable Pentium M processor. It is apparently Yonah predecessor called Crofton. It is a 1GHz chip with 2 MB of cache. The Apple TV also includes 256 MB of ram and an nVidia G72M with 64 MB of video ram.
